Apartamento Bello Atardecer

This is a very quiet place, so it may not suit young people after a lively atmosphere. For a peaceful stay with lovely views and shops and restaurants nearby, though, it worked very well for me. They’re about 600 meters away, and the small local restaurants are much cheaper than in France or the island’s main tourist spots. The beach takes around 35 minutes to walk to, and about 50 minutes to get back. Bus 021 stops a few meters from the accommodation and runs between central Tacoronte and Messa del Mar beach roughly ten times a day. The ride takes about ten minutes, as does the drive. Apartamento Bello Atardecer is in a beautifully kept complex with studios and apartments that have balconies or terraces. There’s a landscaped garden, a pool, and long plastic loungers for sunbathing. From there, and from the spacious, comfortable apartment, you get magnificent views of the ocean, Mount Teide (the archipelago’s highest mountain at 3,718 meters), and the neighborhood. I enjoyed reading, eating, or having a drink on the balcony while looking out over the Atlantic. Accommodation quality is easy to judge, but a location rating can’t be objective unless the reasons behind it are explained. For me, the peaceful setting, scenery, cleanliness, and easy access to shops and restaurants made this an ideal stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Apartamento Bello Atardecer.

The pool was fantastic, the views were stunning, and the receptionist was lovely and incredibly attentive. But after I got home, I realized I’d left a personal item behind. The owner confirmed he had it, yet after three weeks of trying to get him to send it, and even putting my request in writing, I’ve had no response to my WhatsApp messages or any sign of life. He hasn’t replied at all. That’s disgraceful and terrible of him.

I loved how quiet the apartment was. You could hear birds in the morning, and the temperature was just right, neither too hot nor too cold. It was spacious, renovated, spotless, and had a small terrace with incredible views. The kitchen was very well equipped, and every detail had been cleaned. The host was charming and attentive. There are a limited number of free parking spaces right outside, so if you arrive at night you may have to park farther down the street. The one thing I’d change is the security cameras inside the apartment. They compromise privacy and security.

The complex has a big pool with incredible views, and the owner was friendly and offered to help if we needed anything. We found the apartment ideal for a relaxing family holiday. Everything was brand new, beautifully decorated, and, above all, spotless. Definitely recommended.
