Staying in this gorgeous historic house was such a pleasure. I don’t speak Spanish, but the owner couple were really kind. I wish I’d been able to stay a few more nights.

Payment is due when you arrive, and there are just four rooms, all on the first floor. They look lovely, but appearances can be deceiving. The mattresses shifted together whenever one of us moved, almost like they were made of water, and I slept terribly. The shower wouldn’t stay put either. At least we were only there for one night.

It’s a modest, family-run place, and that turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The wooden building is very pretty, with rooms themed around local artists. Mine was spacious and rustic, and it was quiet and very clean. There isn’t a 24-hour reception, but the family are happy to help with whatever you need.
