Roxana looked after us so well. She was attentive to all the guests and gave us useful information about places nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the water pressure was good, and there was plenty of parking. Thanks for everything, Roxana. We'll definitely come back.

I had booked two nights, but a mechanical problem on the road meant I couldn't make it. I called less than an hour after making the booking to explain what had happened and asked if they'd refund at least the second night. They held on to all the money, sticking to the fine print even though I hadn't done anything to deserve that. I'll leave it to others to decide whether that's trustworthy.

We tried the "restaurant" on a Friday public holiday in Madrid. They didn't have a set menu and should have mentioned that. The sandwiches we ordered were disappointing. Don't get the pork loin with cheese, which was just sliced cheese, because they charge extra for it. In my opinion, the place is quite overrated.

This is a useful place to stay if you're visiting the Black Villages. There may not be many alternatives if you need dinner, since the few restaurants in the area close at night. Even on a Saturday, everything else was shut, so we had to eat at El Portón de Sonsaz, which is owned by the same person as the hotel. The staff serving us were very attentive and hardworking.
