As Tunel

We spent ten days in casa As Tunel last spring, just the two of us. We'd visited the area before, including Parcent and Sella, but not Tarbena. It's a lovely village for quiet local life, without entertainment beyond fo V, sunshine and the like. The owner was kind, and the townhouse suited us perfectly: breakfast outside in the sun, a good shower and bed, and a fully equipped kitchen that we didn't use because we wanted to support the local economy. We liked having a beer in the garden at day's end. We went on several circular walks, from moderate to difficult. Choosing where to eat was our daily challenge. Can Pinet is a good evening restaurant, though the portions were too much for us, especially the meat. And don't forget the local Alicante wine!

The village is lovely and a great starting point for several hikes, and the house has amazing views. It delivered exactly what it promised. Erik, the owner, was incredibly friendly and made everything easy.

The owners were delightful, and the garden was lovely, full of flowers. We had a wonderful stay in this charming house, with a magnificent view. Everything was there for us to take home lovely memories.

The place has a great feel, especially the patio and the bed in the main bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, although a few appliances are old and don't work properly. The upstairs bathroom is really cool, but there's no door! XD. Our As Túnel stay was fantastic and matched what was promised. Erik is kind, honest and always ready to help. Tàrbena and the surrounding area are wonderfully quiet and peaceful, a chance to get away from routine and connect with real people.
