The check-in was awful. This isn’t a hotel and there’s no front desk, which would be fine if the owner handled arrivals properly. I called the day before, and she told me to call again an hour before we arrived so she could give us the entry code. The next day I tried calling, but she never answered. Our stay had already been charged, and we had no idea how we’d get inside. We went to the place and knocked, and someone was waiting for us, so we did manage to check in. I don’t understand why she couldn’t text to say someone would be there, or why she asked me to call when she knew she wouldn’t answer. I was worried about where we’d sleep that night, and we felt very unwelcome. No one explained what we could use or what to do with the key when checking out. The WiFi was really, really bad too. I’d never recommend staying there.
