Everyone was really kind, from the volunteers to the owner. For the price, it's easily the best place to stay for a couple of nights. I didn't try coworking, though, so I can't say how that is.

The team made me feel at home straight away, and there were so many lovely people around. La Cocotera has a warm, comfortable feel and a great space for working remotely, right in the center of Tarifa. This place is magic. I'll definitely be back. Thanks so much 🧡

La Cocotera makes a visit to Tarifa easy and comfortable, and the price is reasonable for a place above the usual standard. I'd recommend it to digital nomads and anyone else visiting. The kindness, comfort and convenient location all stand out.

The location is great, and I’d recommend the Cocotera both for a holiday and for remote work. I spent a week there in mid-July 2025 while traveling solo on holiday in Andalucia, after friends who work remotely suggested it. The rooms were clean, proper and nice, and the staff and atmosphere were lovely. It had a really relaxed vibe. I’m a light sleeper, so I asked for a quiet room before arriving and didn’t understand the noise complaints. Tarifa was calm during the week, and most rooms seemed empty even in high season. A few things could be better: the terrace needs attention and doesn’t look like the website photos, there aren’t any yoga classes, and towels would be useful, as they are at many hostels. I also found it a bit expensive since I was alone and always had to pay for the extra bed. I know Tarifa is pricey, but it’s still a hostel.

If you need somewhere to focus while in Tarifa, this little coworking spot has a calm, inspiring feel. It’s small, cute and cozy, and the staff are so welcoming and clearly care about the atmosphere. Highly recommend!
