We had a really enjoyable stay. Everything worked, the place was comfortable and clean, and the location was just right.

I stumbled across this place while kite surfing in Tarifa and loved the rooftop terrace that came with my second-floor studio. The location was great, and the house was nice and well equipped, including a kitchenette.

The room was basic but had what I needed, and my terrace got morning sun. Being right in the old town center was perfect. Check-in and check-out were easy, and getting in with codes instead of keys was relaxing. Park your car north of the center.

We spent a lovely, laid-back stay here and would happily return. The split-level room had a nice outdoor area off the bedroom where we read, ate lunch, and lounged around. Musicians played in the square during the day, which was lovely to listen to, but it stayed really quiet at night. The lounge opened onto the patio, and the bed was very comfortable. I was nervous about the spiral staircase, but it was wider than others I’ve seen. There was a usable kitchen and a kettle, which suited me since I don’t drink coffee. We found lots of good restaurants nearby, including a very good vegetarian one. After two weeks of beef in Spain, it was nice to have some less rich food. English TV was available, a bonus for relaxing in the evenings. The hotel sits in the old town on a lovely square with bars and restaurants. Taxis can’t get through the tiny lanes, so it’s about a five-minute walk to reach it. We communicated easily over WhatsApp. We’d asked to leave our bags because we were arriving early, but the room was ready, so they let us check in. When the door code stopped working before we left, they fixed it within five minutes and it didn’t affect our day. They’d also sent the WiFi password and tourist information.
