The location was the reason I booked, and it is good, but I won’t be back. I suppose there are several apartments, and the one I got was among the worst. The humidity made it hard to breathe. The room was tiny, with a chair and a piece of furniture in deplorable condition. The beds were small, the mattresses thin, and there were barely any pillows. There was no kitchen service or anything beyond a microwave. Each person got one bath towel, not even a hand towel. The beds weren’t made, and the cleaning was far from ideal. There’s a 30 cm step at the entrance, which is difficult for anyone with limited mobility. The owners seemed to be watching everyone coming and going, with unbelievable control. The photos on Booking.com are clearly unacceptable.

Just steps from the beach and next to Guzmán el Bueno Castle, the location is excellent and central in Tarifa. The accommodation is beautiful, pleasant, and welcoming, with attention to every detail. Service was impeccable, and the hosts were kind and went out of their way to make us comfortable. It’s a great spot to relax for a few days and get away from it all, with good value for money. I’ll definitely return. 100% recommended.

The noisy neighbors made sleep impossible, and the poor acoustics meant we even had to call the police. There’s no fan or air conditioning. On the good side, the location is nice, the place is clean, and the service is good.
