The price was extremely high this year, and the rooms and services could definitely be better. Still, this is my favourite campsite, and the place has such beautiful, pure natural energy that I wouldn’t give it less than five stars.

Be careful booking a sea-view bungalow. The photos show something they don’t actually offer: they have only three of those bungalows but rent out more than ten. I paid 400 euro for two nights at a campsite.

There’s a full schedule of activities, and both the kids and we adults enjoyed the pool activities during the day and the shows at night. It’s a cosy, very kid-friendly campsite. The rooms can get really warm, though, and they’re missing fans.

Our pitch had a sea view and direct access to the beach, and the pool has a great area for kids. The place was very clean, and the friendly multilingual staff were happy to help. Tarragona is a 30-minute ride on the local bus. It was a bit cool in April, but we’d definitely come back.

We visited off season, when it was super quiet, and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. Try getting that at a regular Spanish campsite! The pitches had nice shade, and the facilities were clean and modern, with friendly staff. It’s right on the beach. The pool isn’t for laps unless you fancy swimming around an island, but most people will find it lovely. Only reason I’m not giving five stars is that WiFi costs extra.
