The location made it easy to walk to the sandy beaches and reach Tarragona’s historic center, but what made our stay special was the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere Carmen and Carlos created. Their hospitality felt like staying with family. They shared thoughtful recommendations and local tips, and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed four nights at Làpety Hotel, one of our best recent hotel experiences. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, mixing modern comfort with charming character. The beds were very comfortable, with crisp, fresh Egyptian cotton linen. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, freshly and thoughtfully prepared by Carmen with quality ingredients and local touches. We can’t recommend the hotel highly enough and will definitely return. Thank you, Carmen and Carlos, for making the trip so memorable.

It’s an easy walk from the hotel to Tarragona city center, and the neighborhood itself is peaceful and pleasant. The mother and son who run the place are incredibly welcoming and provide excellent service, making you feel right at home. Highly recommended for its personal touch and location.

Carmen and Carlos were always ready to help, including arranging restaurant bookings and sharing useful recommendations. Breakfast was excellent every day, and we had a lovely lunch in the beautiful garden one afternoon. Our comfortable room had a balcony, which was a nice bonus. The hotel is in a quiet residential area just outside Tarragona, with a gorgeous beach about a 10-minute walk away. We had a lovely few days and will visit Tarragona and Lapety hotel again.

I slept better here than I do at home. The mattress and pillows were unbelievably comfortable. The hotel itself is brand new, spotless, and genuinely cosy, and the owner and staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly kind. A true gem and easily the best place to stay in Tarragona.
