Hotel Canada

The rooms are new and clean, but the breakfast is very poor. The location and the view from the window felt depressing, and the WiFi barely worked. The blankets came without duvet covers, and the plumbing was so noisy that sounds from neighboring rooms woke us up.

The restaurant service was good, thanks to an older man and a young boy. Reception, though, couldn’t find my reservation even while I could see it on their screen, which felt like some kind of joke. Each night, a different late shift receptionist talked very loudly with friends and kept us from sleeping. Never again. I can’t recommend this hotel.

A horrendous hotel. There was black mould in the bathroom, and the room was freezing because the radiators didn’t work. The hairdryer was attached to a chain. A man at reception kept giving us the evil eye. A hallway window was stuck open, so the hallway door kept banging. When I raised it with reception, they said, “owell.” I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Update: they’re refusing a refund and saying it’s our fault we left the dirty, disgusting hotel. You say you’re sorry, so why can’t you refund me?

We booked at the last minute, and the staff were really flexible about it. They were very nice and helpful, and we had a nice short stay.
