Paulien made our stay especially easy. She shared tips for tucked-away places, restaurants, shops and walks, and when heavy rain came she pointed us toward sunnier parts of the island and indoor things to do. We could also leave late on our last day, which gave us time for one last walk, lunch and shower before our flight. Apartment Halcón was a peaceful, cosy base for exploring La Palma, with Tazacorte close enough to reach on foot or by car. We liked having two bedrooms, good showers and a kitchen stocked with what we needed, including plenty of herbs and spices. The views from the two seating areas were lovely, especially at sunset, with the caldera clouds, banana plants and sea in sight. The shared garden was another nice place to relax, and useful on the day of very heavy rain. Despite what we had read, the wifi worked indoors and on the covered balcony, though not beyond it. We'd happily stay here again if we return to La Palma.

Apartment Loros was spacious, very comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed for our stay with friends. From the large patio on the second floor we could see Tazacorte, the banana plantations and the sea. Paulien and Jos, the owners, went out of their way to make both the booking and the stay a great experience. We had a fantastic time at Apartamentos Finca La Cruz and highly recommend it.

We came here for some quiet, and it was a wonderful place to switch off. The garden views are spectacular wherever you are, and Tazacorte is very close. Our apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were always helpful, even leaving delicious bread outside our door each morning. Highly recommended.
