Tazacorte Tipical House

The terrace was a highlight for us. It looks over the backyard pool, and we ate dinner out there every evening. The apartment worked perfectly for our family of five, including my grown daughters, with plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean. It's right by the town square, with two supermarkets less than 100 meters away, and parking was easy. Highly recommend it. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to the island.

We felt uncomfortable enough to leave before our stay was over, even though we'd paid in full. On the first day, someone from this pet-friendly accommodation called to say our dog was barking. We stayed in the apartment and spent the day by the pool so we wouldn't disturb anyone, then the next day we were told we couldn't spend all day at the shared pool. There were ants too, and the place should be fumigated. If you have children, the upstairs terrace railing doesn't meet regulations, which is extremely dangerous. The owner didn't call us yelling... The treatment was far worse than what we experienced elsewhere on the island. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it.

The owner was delightful and I had no problems with him. If I go back to La Palma and the place is available, I'd definitely stay again. I spent four nights there in April, and the location was excellent, with easy street parking close by. My duplex was fantastic: it had a small patio with a barbecue, an indoor pool, and a big terrace overlooking the patio and a banana grove. The kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. The bedroom was large, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely. It had basically everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
