The entertainment team were brilliant, and the bar staff were great, with quick service at all the bar areas. The pool space is nice, though the water was very cold, and there were plenty of sunbeds. We really enjoyed this adults-only hotel. The atmosphere was lovely, and the location was quiet with shops and restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious, clean and well kept. The food had a good selection and was good quality for the rating.

The apartments were spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and great. The food was the main letdown: neither the quality nor the selection was very good, and it wasn't hot. For what we paid, I was very disappointed. At best, I'd give the food two stars.

Breda was an excellent rep when we arrived. She was really helpful and suggested the best trips, but she was on holiday for the rest of our stay. We booked a trip to the Sunday market through the hotel, and the whole thing was chaos. They dropped us in a car park near the market and only told us the bus left at 2 o'clock. After walking around in the rain, we headed back at about 1.30. We saw the coach coming, tried to flag it down, and the driver stuck two fingers up at us and drove on. Other people at the car park had the same experience. We all waited in pouring rain for an hour and a quarter until the bus came back. The driver gave no explanation, and when we got back, a rep offered a lame excuse for the delay but didn't explain why the bus had left the site at 1.30. The restaurant had stayed open for us, but we didn't feel like eating in soaking wet clothes. We haven't enjoyed this holiday and will be glad to get home. The hotel wasn't what we were led to expect when booking a hotel owned by Tui. The room was adequate, but the decor was dated and overdue for a refurb. Food was served lukewarm, the rolls and bread were always stale, and the themed food nights were hit and miss. Cleanliness was acceptable, but not good. The entertainment was very poor and not worth watching. We certainly won't book with TUI again.

The room was lovely, large and quiet, and very clean. It wasn't on the complex, but being opposite was fine. The main pool was heated, though I first thought it was cold when I dipped my toe in. That won't put me off, I'll go for an early morning swim before breakfast.
