Apartamentos Oceano - Adults Only

We’ll book here again. It’s clean and well located, with an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The pool was nice and there was always a sun bed available. Staff were friendly and helpful. The outside doors lock at night for added security, though we never felt unsafe. Facilities include Debs for food and drinks, a washer and dryer, and toilets by the pool.

Manoli and Hannah at reception were so friendly and helpful. They recommended some good places to visit and eat, which I really appreciated as a woman travelling solo. I had an amazing stay and will come back. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy, there’s lots of wardrobe space, and the bathroom and kitchenette are nice and well organised. The kitchenette had a microwave, two ring hob, kettle, toaster, coffee pot, crockery and corkscrew. There’s a dining table inside, plus a big sofa that can be made into another single bed by moving the back cushions. The balcony has a table, chairs and a foldaway clothes dryer with pegs. They provide bathroom towels, toilet rolls, three mini shower gels, hand soap, a tea towel and cloth, and washing up liquid. The quiet pool area was lovely for relaxing, and it’s an adults only place, which was a blessing. Debs Diner is on site for snacks and drinks, and I love their mango smoothies. There’s a pool table near the pool, and the washer and dryer cost 4 euros, very handy. Oceano is well placed, around a 5-10 minute walk from restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets and the beach. Debs diner was great for personal service. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, the ensuite was roomy, and the laundry was changed regularly. You’re right in the middle of everything, but it’s still quiet.

The pool is small but gets plenty of sun, and we had no trouble finding a lounger. It doesn’t open until 9, though. The apartments are basic but clean and had what we needed. There’s no air conditioning, but you can rent a fan. Check in was easy. A separate cafe on site had good food at reasonable prices, and we ate breakfast there most days. The location is great and central.
