Hotel BlueBay Lanzarote - All inclusive

We had a wonderful 7-night family stay at BlueBay in the first week of February, and were very happy with our choice. The apartment was clean and spacious, ideal for the three of us, and was thoroughly cleaned every second day. Shops and beautiful beaches were only a 10-minute stroll away. There was plenty of choice at every meal, and the food was delicious and clearly made fresh each day. The All-Inclusive drinks selection was excellent too, with quality cocktails, wines, beers, and great Sangrias. We really enjoyed our relaxing family holiday and highly recommend BlueBay.

We spent a wonderful week at BlueBay Lanzarote. The buffet had lots of options, and we enjoyed trying different dishes each evening. The hotel was very clean, the pool area was beautiful and relaxing during the day, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. Amazing stay.

The staff were professional and friendly, and maid service was very good. Apartments are very spacious, with balconies and kitchens, though a little shabby. It’s a pleasant walk of about 15 minutes to the centre. There’s plenty of good food for everyone, with all-inclusive drinks including self-serve lager, wine, sangria, soft drinks, spirits, mixers, and cocktails. Food is served pretty much all day, and drinks are available until midnight. For the price, it’s excellent. If you’re expecting a high 3-star level of service, you’ll be very pleased. Expect 5-star service and you’ll be disappointed.

The splash pool was a good part of the stay for my 2-year-old and 5-year-old, although the water was absolutely freezing. The lifeguard deserves credit: they kept watching and walking around the pool rather than sitting in a chair all day. The kids’ disco was about an hour, nothing special, but the children enjoyed it. The room was dirty, basic, mouldy, and smelly. The place felt filthy and like it needed to be completely gutted. The dining area had filthy chairs and high chairs, though the staff were polite. Food was hit and miss. New Year’s Eve dinner was excellent, 10/10, but the rest of the week was standard all-inclusive food. For what we paid, it was far too expensive. The hotel badly needs a deep clean and full revamp. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it.
