We’ll be back, and we can only recommend the property. My husband and I spent two wonderful weeks at Casa el Barranco, a charming old farmhouse restored on a large property in a quiet village in northern Lanzarote. It has a really authentic feel. Famara beach is just a 15-minute drive away. It’s a 3 km natural beach that’s good for walking, surfing, or kiting. Teguise, the island’s old capital, is five minutes away by car. We also regularly drove 15 minutes to Arrieta for its good fish restaurants.

We’d happily come back to Lanzarote and stay with Rural Villas again. Casa Barranco was a beautiful, peaceful home with everything we needed, and it’s only a few meters from Teguise. The island is lovely, and the other houses looked amazing too, so we’d like to try one of them next time. Highly recommend it.
