Gran Hotel Havana

We had the best time at the Gran Hotel Havana. The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed using the pool and pool bar. Breakfast was the highlight, especially our favorite waiter, Marcos. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family.

The rooftop pool was the standout, with great views. The hotel was centrally located and just a short drive from the airport, with a 24-hour supermarket right across the street for picking up water and snacks. The rooms have fridges. We booked a triple single room for a girls' trip, though we didn't realize it meant two single beds and a sofa bed. It was comfortable enough, and we'd definitely return. The service was lovely: they brought our luggage to the room, gave us a free drinks voucher on arrival, made the beds and replaced the towels daily, and kept the shared spaces in good shape. The pool area and sauna were included too.

The rooftop pool and bar were excellent, and the front desk staff were really helpful. It's a great location, with cafes nearby but less of the bustle of the center. Our only small annoyance was the room service, which I think came down to our particular cleaner. We stayed four nights, and the moisturiser, sugar, stirrers, and other drink-making supplies weren't replenished, which was inconvenient.

The rooms were clean, cool, and had everything we needed. Staff were attentive and quick to help, with smiles all around. We stayed three nights, and the location made it easy to get around the city on foot. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
