This was our first time at the Nazaret mansions, so be careful not to confuse them with the other Nazarets. Checking in was easy, and the reception staff were great and helpful throughout our stay. We had a reasonably spacious duplex. The balcony got sun from mid morning through the afternoon, although the view was just some waste land, so we closed our eyes and enjoyed the sun. There were several pools to choose from, none crowded, and one of them was heated and very nice to swim in. The location is perfect, right in the centre and a one minute walk from the square and all the bars and restaurants. It was so good that I’ve booked again for May.

There are three floors in the building and no lift, though that wasn’t a problem for us. The apartment itself was spacious and had everything we needed, plus nice touches like toiletries and wine. Beds were comfy, and there was cleaning and a change of towels and bedding. We enjoyed the lovely pool, with plenty of sunbeds. The location was great: a short stroll to the sea, the square with restaurants, bars across the road and a supermarket on the corner. Breakfast had lots of choice.

We’re home now, sore from the stairs. I emailed the hotel twice before our trip to explain that we have trouble with stairs and urgently needed a ground-floor apartment, since there are no lifts. That didn’t happen, and getting to our room was a painful struggle. It’s such a shame, because the stay could have been fantastic, but we’re back with arthritic pain and pulled muscles.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the area around the hotel felt calm and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, and the ladies serving it were especially warm and friendly. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and I’d happily recommend the place.

The apartment pool is heated, and the staff are friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, the meals were very good, and the location makes it easy to get everywhere.
