Oasis Lanz Beach Mate

The pool was heated and clean, with plenty of sunbeds and some shade when you wanted it. Food was consistent and pretty tasty, the drinks were strong, and there’s an onsite gym. The rooms were clean, roomy, comfortable and well laid out, with decent WiFi. Staff were warm, welcoming and accommodating in a way I’ve never experienced at a hotel before. Beaches, trails, shops, restaurants and other useful places are all within walking distance. It’s a great example of friendly, consistent hospitality without fuss. I’d visit again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone coming to the island.

The staff were amazing, always smiling, helpful and fun. The site is flat and easy to get around, and town is just one or two minutes away for local amenities. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with supportive mattresses, and we slept very well. The poolside cafe serves a generous, excellent salad, with fries for children or adults, though gluten-free choices at lunch are limited. A nearby Spar and local restaurant can fill the gap if needed. A restful little oasis in a busy town, and a great winter break.

We chose half-board and were pleased overall. Breakfast had very good options, while the evening meal was just okay, but good value for what we paid. Decent hotel apartments.

We spent a week at Oasis Lanz Beach Mate with friends and had a fantastic time. Costa Teguise is a great location, and the airport is only about 30 minutes away, so getting in and out was easy. The hotel was immaculate throughout, with spotless modern rooms cleaned daily and a lovely, well-kept pool. Breakfast was excellent, especially sitting outside by the pool at the round tables in comfortable chairs with coffee in the morning sun. Dinner was excellent too, with good-quality food and a different choice each evening. The reception team were always polite and welcoming, and the restaurant and housekeeping staff were attentive and professional. The hotel is clearly very well run, and we’ll definitely return.
