3 to 5 December 2025 We stayed in two rooms at Casa Santana Segura, and everything was just right. The place is quiet, well kept, and very pleasant, and the host was friendly and helpful. The rooms felt a little cold at first, until we figured out how to set the AC to heating. After that, we were very comfortable. The inner courtyard must be a real bonus in warmer weather. Highly recommended! We also had a great dinner at Casa Del Caminero, about a three-minute walk away. There were lots of different small dishes, and both the food and the family-like atmosphere were fantastic.

Alicia made this feel like staying with a caring friend, a real home away from home. Her rental is a perfect one-bed place, with a double bed, a single bed, a living room, terrace, kitchenette stocked with everything you need, an induction hob, and a shower in the en suite bathroom. The tap water was drinkable and delicious. After our sweaty hike to get there, she kindly did our laundry for free. It gets cold and damp in the mountains, so the heaters in the room and bathroom were much appreciated. There were lots of useful extras too: a sewing kit, dominoes and other games, trekking poles, an umbrella, a terrace barbecue, and a view of Roque Bentayga. We absolutely loved it. The patio is a lovely place to sit, relax, or have a barbecue. It’s a fantastic stay if you want to visit a genuine Canarian village high in the mountains. I’ll remember this place!

A great location with restaurants nearby, and a very friendly host. The room has a distinctive style and everything you need is on hand. The WiFi is perfect. Highly recommended, even for a group of up to 8.
