Such a lovely rustic pool, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating. The countryside setting is great too. The room had everything we needed and then some, including a kettle, microwave, and fridge. It was clean, the shower was clean, and the hot water worked well. The air-conditioning was quiet, and the room stayed pleasant even without it. The owner communicated superbly. We only gave it four stars because barking dogs kept us awake through the night and into the early morning. Such a shame, because the place is a real gem.

On our second visit, six years after the first, everything was still good value and a nice place to unwind before an early flight. It’s a rustic finca with a lovely pool, really close to the airport. Bring your own food and drinks next time, as we wished we had. There are a few finca dogs around; they were friendly and only barked briefly on our first visit. On the later stay, though, at least two big dogs were barking from around 2 am and kept going. We’d planned to get a good night’s sleep before the flight, but that didn’t happen. We had earplugs and ended up using them at 4 in the morning. I also found the mattress uncomfortable because it sagged in the middle.

Javi was so helpful and warm, and the whole rural home was spotless and had everything we needed. We celebrated our wedding here and were extremely happy with the experience. The house is about 200 years old, with a lovely vintage, rural feel, and it’s been beautifully preserved. There’s also an amazing pool, lovely nature all around, and complete privacy. Thanks, finca el pocico, for such a great stay. I recommend it 100%.

An excellent find, with old Spanish-style fincas to rent in a magnificent rural setting. Mountains and all kinds of nature surround the place.
