For a budget hostal, I’d give it five stars across the board. The rooms are clean and nicely presented, with good storage in a roomy wardrobe and lots of hangers. Towels were changed daily, though fresh sheets during our five-day stay would’ve been welcome. The cleaning staff were friendly, hardworking, and quick to bring extras when we asked, including a fan, hairdryer, and drinking cups. It’s only a short walk to the beach, and there’s a good range of restaurants for different tastes. I’d book again if we return to Melenara.

Way too expensive for such a small room, only 11 m², with no microwave or fridge...

The hostel was very clean, and the woman at reception was kind and helpful.

I didn’t expect a hostel, and was pleasantly surprised. It’s one of the better ones. The bed is on the firm side but manageable, and the bathroom is a decent size. Self check-in was easy. There’s no tea or coffee maker, noise from other rooms can be pretty noticeable, and the trash can is tiny. On the plus side, the beach and bus are both a short walk away, the price is good, the shower has hot water, and the room was cleaned every day. Nothing went missing during our stay. I recommend it.

Clean, professional, and in a good location, with friendly staff. A nice spot for a couple of days, whether you’re there for work or leisure.
