The garden gazebo became our favorite spot, especially at mealtimes, with meadows and woods all around and cows as the soundtrack. We stayed in the Fresnu apartment with our two children and found it a great place to unwind for a few days. It sits above Mestas de Con and has lovely mountain views, plus a tidy private garden and barbecue. Inside, everything was well looked after: two bedrooms, two full bathrooms with showers, and a kitchen equipped for cooking. There’s plenty to do right in the village, too: massages at the spa a couple of minutes away, Casa Maria for fabada or cachopo, and San Martín Gastrobar for grilled sardines or local meat. The spa could be a nice stop after the area’s multi-adventure activities. We had everything we wanted for a break from city life. Highly recommended.

Luis and Teresa made us feel very welcome and shared plenty of ideas for things to see and do. The apartment was spotless, lovely, and cared for down to the details. My wife and I came to Asturias for a quiet weekend away, and it turned out just right. We’ll be back for sure.

The owners were quick to help with anything we needed, and the apartments were very clean and well equipped. They’re in a handy spot for visiting the sights, and everything was in great condition and well maintained. We had a fabulous stay. Good for couples, friends, or families, and we’ll definitely return.

Nature sounds and a really comfortable bed made for a restful May bank holiday. We were two, and the apartment felt cozy, with a fireplace and barbecue that added to the snug feel. It was very clean, and having our own parking space was handy. Cangas de Onís is only a few minutes away. There’s also a nearby spa/hotel with massages and treatments at very reasonable prices, which I plan to try next time. We appreciated the written list of local restaurant suggestions, too.

Bring some food along: the village has just two little shops with limited stock and one restaurant. Otherwise, this place has what you need, with lots of space, parking, a garden, barbecue, and a playground for kids. It’s a great base for walks nearby and for anyone after some peace and quiet. We’ll be back.
