The room was spacious, with a large firm double bed, nice pillows, a balcony, and a good shower and bath. The air conditioning and heating worked well. We were told check-in was at 4, but got in at 2:45 and had a drink at the bar first. The restaurant is really more of a bar or cafe menu. We had croquettes, tuna empanada, burgers, red wine, and espresso, and sat outside on the terrace. Breakfast was fine, served at the table on a platter rather than as a buffet, with good coffee and croissants. We spent one lovely night there during our Camino, though it's about 1 km from the main trail.

The hotel is a beautiful building, and towels and sandals were provided. But for what it costs, having no air conditioning is a problem. They say it's old, but it simply doesn't work. There wasn't even a fan, and the place is far from the Camino.

The rooms are getting a bit worn and could use an update, which is the only reason I took off a star. It's otherwise a fantastic venue, and the staff are great, with really friendly service. I'd highly recommend it.

I found the service really bad. When I arrived, I asked if there was a bar where I could get something to eat. They had a bar, but served drinks only. I then asked about the restaurant, and the food was awful and quite expensive. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's very bad. The outdoor area is pleasant, but the room I stayed in had a mezzanine that made the whole floor shake when anyone walked on it. The bathroom was awkwardly tucked beside the sink, and the whole apartment was poorly lit.
