Well done!

This residence is terribly run, and the service for residents is dismal. You keep hoping for the day you can leave and live somewhere else, because it just doesn't feel like a place I'd recommend.

A really awful experience. The lack of attention and neglect have been so bad that it costs a place.

The newer facilities made us think our mother would be better cared for here, but that hasn't turned out to be true. My siblings and I moved her from another care home after she fell two or three times there. This one costs considerably more, which has been a real strain on us. There aren't enough staff, and not everyone knows how to support someone in a wheelchair. Just two days after she arrived, she fell again and broke her ankle. They also leave her in one position for hours, whether in a chair, bed, or wheelchair, which could lead to bedsores. I don't know whether we'll regret moving her. We'll see if these issues are fixed. People her age need care that fits their needs, and at least a basic level of dignity.
