Casa De La Nobleza

A great base for exploring Lanzarote, right in the middle of the island. We had lovely views and a quiet setting, and really enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean and roomy enough for two. Watch out for Google Maps, though, it sent us the wrong way.

Absolutely brilliant.

The rooms were spacious, and the bed was large and comfortable, but that was about the only upside. The place looked much better in the photos than it did in person. It seemed okay at first, then the neglected condition became hard to miss. I stayed in Room 4. There was thick dust on the chandelier, the curtain was torn, the glass was dirty, and the big shower window had no curtain, so there was no privacy. The wardrobe still had clothes from previous guests. I wouldn't even suggest checking under the bed. Another room had a blocked sink. The kitchen drawers smelled musty, and the stove hood didn't work. Cleanliness was the main problem. For the price, the place seemed to promise a higher standard, but it felt more like a budget hostel. Getting in touch with the manager was difficult, and replies to messages came very late. Internet was advertised, but kept dropping out and topped out at 2 Mbps.
