We felt at home from the minute we arrived at Casa Tilama. The villa was spotless and beautiful, with everything we needed, and Marcelino and Yohana were warm, kind hosts who were always ready to help. Tinajo is such a peaceful village, away from the tourist crowds, and made a handy base for visiting Famara Beach, La Santa and other places. We’d happily return to Lanzarote and stay here again. A few nearby food spots we loved: Majo Picón is an easy walk, and we went at least 4-5 times. Restaurante Grill Casa Saturno in Tinguatón is about 5 minutes by car and was our favorite, especially the grilled octopus. La Santa Barquillo is a short drive for really good seafood. Highly recommend!

After a day out exploring the island, it was lovely to come back to a quiet place in Tinajo. The house is in a central spot, so day trips around Lanzarote were easy. It’s been renovated beautifully, too. The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Thanks so much!

Marcel was so attentive, and the house was in great shape throughout. We spent 6 days at Casa Tilama and thought it was spectacular. Everything was great!

After staying in 18 different places over the past three months, we ended our trip at Casa Tilama, and it was a perfect finish. There’s parking inside the courtyard, plus a roomy outdoor space with lovely tables and chairs and a really good barbecue area. The kitchen has an impressive amount of equipment. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with coordinated colors, and there’s another bathroom with a washing machine and clothes rack. Everything was immaculate. The owner and his wife have made it a wonderfully clean, comfortable retreat.
