We liked it enough to come back twice, and everything we tried was delicious. The food is simple, full of flavor, comes out quickly, and costs very reasonably for what you get. We went for lunch when it was really busy, and I was impressed by how the staff kept serving so many people while constantly on the move. Just don’t expect personal, attentive service. The appeal is the food, the good vibes, and enjoying the moment. There’s indoor seating for lunch that’s perfectly fine, though I’d pick a table outside if one’s available.

We were so busy eating we didn’t even get our phones out to take photos. The shrimp were the best we’ve ever had, and the “karabinieri” were unforgettable. Everything seemed fresh, including fish caught just 50 meters from the restaurant. The fish soup was packed with flavor, the octopus cooked just right, and even the house-made sauce was amazing. The staff were kind, friendly, and welcoming. This was easily the best food we had on the island and our number one spot. A really special place.

The place was clearly popular with locals, with a lively, friendly buzz and tables set close together. I hope they didn’t mind me asking twice for ours to be wiped, but after that we had a very pleasant meal. The fish soup was the standout, rich and full of flavor. The local cheese, fried cod, and paella were good too. One of the few places offering single portions and even half portions.
