The breakfast staff were super friendly and gave us a warm welcome, but the rest was a mess. We had power problems constantly, and the rooms were humid and moldy. There was no air conditioning or heating, our clothes stayed wet, and the drainage was dirty and smelled awful. It was totally overpriced. Don’t be fooled by the one pool photo. The jacuzzi smelled like pee and was full of dirt.

Tinajo turned out to be the right choice for our nine lovely days. We could easily get to any part of the island in 20 minutes, and the crew were kind and had lots of recommendations for activities, especially hiking routes. Simona made incredible breakfasts, with something different every day. The weather was a bit cold for the pools, but the jacuzzi was very good.

The staff were really friendly, patient, and full of useful information, and the breakfast was fresh, tasty, and had lots of choice. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is quiet and in a beautiful area, with safe parking, though you need a car. The pools were nice, but the water was freezing and there weren’t many places to sit. The bathroom curtain kept sticking to us in the shower, which was uncomfortable. With no shower door, the whole room got wet and slippery fast.

The food was excellent, and the staff were very kind. This new finca is beautiful, built in a style typical of the area, with breathtaking views and several pools, including jacuzzi pools. Its peaceful location makes it easy to reach the island’s main attractions.

The pools were nice, and breakfast was delicious, but I was disappointed by what we got for the price. At nearly $200 a night in Spain, it didn’t measure up to other local places. There was no hand soap, and the bathroom had cheap single-use shampoo packets that were never replaced. For a place focused on relaxation and charging that much, spending even $10 on basic amenities would make a real difference.
