The location was great, but we didn't enjoy the two bedroom apartment we booked through Air Bnb ( Cathedral Appartments). There was no natural light inside, dirt marks on several walls, worn bedding, and cheap, uncomfortable pillows. Strong-smelling diffusers were placed around the apartment, and the bathroom smelled mouldy. At the end, the owner demanded a large extra fee because we left a few dirty tea cups in the sink. We found that really upsetting. Thankfully, air bnb has strong protection against people like this.

The apartment was clean and right in the old town. Kitchen facilities were very basic and not useful.

The place was lovely, quiet, very clean, and had everything we needed. The owner was kind and trusted us even though we hadn't met. We've rented places many times and always leave them in good condition. So it was upsetting to get a message saying we'd broken part of the shower. We didn't get a chance to make an inventory, and although it's frustrating, we understand. We're certain we didn't damage anything. Even so, the apartment is so pleasant that we'll still recommend it.

We had a great week in Toledo. Obdulia, thank you for all the thoughtful touches: coffee and breakfast, cold water and milk in the fridge, and everything we needed in the bathroom. The apartment was clean and new, with white cotton sheets and towels and air conditioning in every room. It was perfect.

The apartment is right in the center, with the main attractions just a three minute walk away and a small grocery store two minutes away that stays open late. The staff were very helpful, and getting in was easy with clear directions. The apartment was in great condition, clean, and had everything we needed.
