It was generally in decent condition and well located, fine for sleeping over. But the bathroom didn’t work for us. The sliding door had come off its hinges and wouldn’t shut, and with four of us in a small apartment, having no bathroom door made the toilet unusable. For the amount we paid, that’s unacceptable.

The views were lovely, and it’s close to the center. We’re in the attic, so we expected all those stairs. Cleanliness, though, leaves a lot to be desired, and there are lots of cockroaches in the apartment and on the stairs. I’d requested a crib and paid for it, but it wasn’t there when we arrived. I called around 8 p.m. The first person said they couldn’t get one to us until the next day. A woman called later, sorted it out, and refunded the crib charge. They didn’t provide crib sheets either, luckily I’d brought my own.

The apartment staff were helpful, but we left disappointed. The photos make the place look bigger than it is, and the upstairs ceiling is too low. The stairs are dangerous, and with children it didn’t feel safe. We found cockroaches in the pot cupboard and beneath the refrigerator. There’s also an uncovered cable junction box, and the closets and sink are in poor shape.

It’s a whole block of tourist apartments with no elevator, just winding stairs and uneven floors. We found cockroaches, and the radiators were coming loose from the wall. The bathrooms were dismal: towel racks kept falling, the shower tray was extremely slippery, and the screens were broken. Cleaning could’ve been better too.
