The apartment itself is magnificent, clean, very well cared for, central, and full of thoughtful details. My problem is with how the host manages things. I’m one of the guests who had to wait a very long time for the €150 deposit to be returned, after paying it by card as soon as I checked in. It takes much longer than 7 business days, and unless you complain or contact the owner, she’ll just “forget.” For that reason, I can’t recommend the apartments.

SCAM! Three months on, we still haven’t had our deposit back, even though we left the apartment in perfect condition. When we complained, they laughed and refused to return it. From the moment we arrived, it felt like they were looking for reasons to keep the money. Over the weekend they sent WhatsApp messages with threats and even insults. The staff were awful. Booking.com has only wasted our time, and even removed my comment about the problem from its page.

I stayed at the apartments in June last year and I’m STILL waiting for my deposit. I’ve contacted the person who charged me so many times, and she just keeps giving me the runaround. I can see this has happened to lots of people, so I wouldn’t recommend staying unless you’re willing to pay an extra 150 euros. We told them we’d be about half an hour late, and they said it was fine. But when we got to Toledo they wouldn’t let us in, leaving us stranded outside, including a woman who was seven months pregnant. We lost all our money and had to find somewhere else at the last minute, paying another €125 per room. The rooms seem cheap at first, then they charge extra for nearly everything. A complete rip-off.

SCAM!!! A terrible experience. María, the woman who checked us in, made our trip miserable from the start. She was incredibly arrogant and rude, and argued with us about arriving at 5:30 PM, even though their advertised check-in window is 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. They were completely inflexible. It’s now been 25 days since my arrival, and there’s still no refund of my €150 deposit. The contract they make you sign says it will be returned within 7 days, but they haven’t refunded anything. If you care about your money, don’t book here!
