We stayed in the spacious, modern and quiet Junior Suite, room 44. Noelia, Diego and especially Soraya gave us lovely personal help. Soraya found us a very good white wine to enjoy on the fifth-floor terrace. There's also a sister restaurant a short walk away, with tasting menus in a plush, peaceful interior, a change from the tapas bars, pizzerias and Asian restaurants found everywhere. Coming in from the busy plaza, the hotel immediately felt calm and comfortable. Receptionists were happy to carry our luggage between the street and the hotel, since the elevator only serves the upper floors.

We stayed two nights at the Adolfo and wished we could've stayed longer. It's right in Toledo's historic centre, close to a public parking garage. Our junior suite was large, with a sofa and a glassed-in balcony whose windows opened. With the balcony door, it kept street and city noise out completely. The room was perfectly clean, with a comfortable bed and linens. There were plenty of outlets by the bed and elsewhere, plus a coffee machine and mini fridge. Wi-Fi stayed consistent and worked very well. Noelia at reception was so kind, helped with maps and recommendations, and carried our bags up the first set of steps. There's a buzzer for luggage help, and an elevator for the remaining floors. Breakfast was served and very good, and the fifth-floor terrace was fantastic for watching the sunset with a glass of wine. I only wish they'd provided a boxed breakfast when we left for our flights at 5:30 am, since breakfast was included in the nightly rate.

The hotel looks out onto Toledo's main square, putting the city within easy reach. Even with all the activity in the square, it felt calm inside, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and would highly recommend staying here.

The towels were so worn through they had holes, and the amenities were sparse and very basic. For what it costs, this place is expensive. We had a bad enough stay that it unfortunately spoiled our experience in Toledo. I'd book somewhere cleaner and newer instead.

We had a really pleasant stay in Toledo. The room was very clean and nice, and had been upgraded. The service was superb. The team noticed it was my wife's birthday and gave us a lovely gift with best wishes. Highly recommend!
