Hotel Los Toreros

The rooms are basic, but clean, and the whole hotel was spotless. Everyone welcomed us warmly and was courteous, friendly, and helpful. It’s a big place with a team that includes several family members. The morning after a large event, the boss was first on the scene and got breakfast underway himself. We didn’t hear a thing from the event. A lovely stay ☺️

We had a really nice breakfast, and the staff were friendly. I can’t comment on the evening food. The location is great, and the room rates are very good. It’s a great town to stop in while travelling between Santander and Portugal. The hotel was fully booked, so keep in mind there are lots of booking services. I’m not sure why it only has one star!

The restaurant food was absolutely beautiful, and there’s plenty to see in the town, which is steeped in history. The tourist information centre was friendly, and the local ceramic artist is well worth visiting. We spent two nights at this family-run hotel. It has a traditionally Spanish feel, and everyone was very friendly. Our room was clean and quiet, with lots of hot water and fresh towels.

The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, and did their best to look after us. We managed to get everything we needed, even though nobody spoke any language other than Spanish. Our room was odd, though, with a sloping floor. I still don’t know how that’s possible.
