The people were lovely and really tried to make us happy. The food was a bit iffy, though, but it is a one-star hostal.

The meal of the day was incredible, especially for the quality you get at that price.

We had Rioja with the set menu, and the owners served everything beautifully. The homemade lamb stew, pig's trotters, and rooster were all excellent. We eat at the lagoon every year, and now we know where to stop for a meal when visiting the Gallocanta Lagoon. Fantastic restaurant, highly recommended.

They were polite when we called to book using a Wonderbox package. Once we said we already had the package, their tone changed and they refused, nearly hanging up. We asked why, and they said they don't accept those reservations before hanging up on us. A real disgrace.

The hospitality was impeccable, and the service was exquisite. It's a great hotel, with an even better restaurant and haute cuisine. I'll come back as soon as I can to see the cranes, God willing!
