Casa Rural El Vínculo

The house is right in the town center, beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and each has its own bathroom. It used to be a restaurant, which explains the big, restaurant-style kitchen. A great spot for a few relaxing days, with some lovely excursions nearby.

El Vínculo, the rural guesthouse where we stayed in the Sierra de Gata, felt like home. On trips to new places, it's the destination itself, the welcome you get, or both that make you want to return. Here, it was both. The house is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and peaceful, and the homemade breakfast was excellent. Many thanks to Javier and Silvia for making us feel so welcome.

Silvia and Javier were so friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast had a great range of homemade products. The house was spotless, with a lovely rustic look that felt recently renovated. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to family for its hospitality, condition, breakfast, location, and price.

The room was spotless and the bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, with freshly made Spanish omelet, spectacular almond cake, loads of local sweets, and toast with freshly grated tomato and wonderful olive oil, plus plenty more. Silvia and Javier made us feel right at home and offered great tips on where to eat and what to see. I'd highly recommend El Vínculo if you're exploring the Gata area. Thanks to them both for being such wonderful hosts!
