Hospedium Hotel Sky Blu Torre de Sevilla

The lobby was kept up to a five-star appearance, and the hotel is gated. The front desk staff were friendly too. But our room reeked of cigarette smoke when we arrived. I had to tell the cleaning staff and open the windows just to make it bearable. There were bugs in the room, and I woke up covered in bites. The blankets felt scratchy and woolly, so sleeping was uncomfortable and itchy. The room was humid as well, which made it hard to dry laundry, and the bathroom wasn't clean or well maintained. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby. The buffet was barely edible. Most things were either overcooked or undercooked. I'm very upset with EF Tours for booking this hotel when reviews had already mentioned these problems. I won't come back or recommend it.

The food was terrible and badly cooked. I had to send back raw chicken, and it came from outside catering in plastic containers, served in those same containers. The walls were paper-thin, the AC was very weak, and there was no fridge in the room. The shower had a hand-soap dispenser. This felt more like a motel than a three-star hotel. All in all, a terrible experience.

The hotel is miles from anywhere, and a taxi into Sevilla costs 30 euros each way. The hotel runs a minibus, but reception couldn't be bothered to arrange it. The staff were very rude at both reception and in the restaurant. The rooms and bathrooms are large but dated, and the beds were uncomfortable. The food was awful, so I stuck to the salad bar.

Our room had a sewage smell, and the water stopped working several times. The maintenance guys who came to fix it smelled like weed. The food was absolute trash and inedible, and there was a really annoying 13-year-old boy who stole our food.
