The house itself is lovely, very clean, and has everything you need. But on the ground floor, there’s no privacy. The porch is only a couple of meters from a little house with an outdoor bathroom, where the owner’s son lives. He’s there day and night, watching over the place, which left us feeling observed and intimidated. He only goes when someone comes to take over. We didn’t use the garden because it felt like we’d be intruding. I’m only talking about the ground floor, since another family was staying upstairs.

We’ve stayed here as a family three times now, and we’ve been delighted each visit. It’s a charming little chalet, quiet and surrounded by pine trees, with everything you might need inside. Mari Carmen is a delightful host.

We usually spend a few days here every year, in winter and summer. It feels like our own little bubble of peace and quiet. The hosts are so kind, and the cleanliness deserves a ten.
