The biggest problem was the noise. Sound carries badly through the walls and ceiling, and someone in the room above walked around in high heels all night with loud groaning on and off and doors slamming. People also ran and shouted in the corridors for much of the night. Outside, a fiesta brought thumping music and fireworks until 1 a.m., and you can hear planes landing too. I couldn’t sleep at all. A dreadful experience I wouldn’t repeat. On arrival the staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is huge and sits in an industrial park, but it has a restaurant and bar, so there’s no need to go out. Underground parking costs extra, though it was worth it. We hadn’t known about the buffet when booking. The food was poor quality, but at €17 per person with one drink included, the price was okay.

Sara at the front desk was awesome, very professional and helpful, and that’s why I’m giving two stars. The older man on duty when I arrived at 12:30 a.m. was rude. When I asked if the neighborhood was safe, he replied, “Lady, I don’t know, this is Madrid!” There were only two rooms left: one on the first floor, and one on the third with four beds crammed into it. I wish I’d booked somewhere else.

I liked their inclusion concept, but the stay was disappointing and feels like a two-star place to me. The room was a little run down and had no soap. There was a noisy truck thing across the road, so I couldn’t leave the window open at night. I was also told there was a sauna/spa, but that turned out to be fake news, and there was no airport shuttle. Breakfast was supposedly included in my booking, yet they wanted me to pay again. The online discount wasn’t applied when I checked in, so somehow I got tricked into booking there.

The staff are friendly, and that Porcel burger is fantastic! The location is quite close to the airport, but there isn’t much around. If you like some peace and quiet, it’s perfect.

I ordered food at the restaurant and added some French fries, then was charged an extra 20 €. I later found out it should have been only 3 €. The bar and restaurant staff had a very unpleasant manner and barely gave me the time of day. The receptionist, at least, was very polite.
