8/10
The restaurant meal was fantastic, and we really liked the beds and the room layout. We’d happily stay again. We chose the hotel for its location near Monfrague National Park and wanted to see the Celestial Point here. Our stay had a couple of snags: the roof leaked in our first room, so we were moved, and the second room had a big crack in the window and a broken secondary lock. Neither was a deal breaker, and the staff accommodated us well. Stuff happens, and it didn’t put us off.

The setting is peaceful and the property is nice. Staff are attentive, though the service doesn’t feel very professional. The hotel and its facilities urgently need maintenance, and the cleaning service needs attention.

I really enjoyed the balcony, especially for coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening while looking out over the mountains. From my bedroom window I could hear birds through the night. The rooms were comfortable, and the restaurant served good food.

The staff were efficient and helpful, and I enjoyed all six days I spent here. It’s in lovely countryside, and the hotel is comfortable and pleasant. The restaurant is very good, with top-quality food.

There are walks close by, and you can spot birds in the area. The setting is fantastic, with plenty of space throughout, including in the rooms. It felt very safe during the pandemic, and the food was lovely.
