The stay felt stressful instead of relaxing, and I wouldn’t recommend this retreat. At night there was constant, very loud barking from dogs, and the place didn’t seem well maintained, with lots of mosquitoes and spider webs. The prices also varied between the website, emails, and on site, and we felt overcharged for our suite. The owner avoided communicating clearly and even made up prices. For instance, a massage/Reiki was said to cost 60€, then became €75 if it wasn’t paid in cash.

We’ve been visiting la Masia for years, and it’s always a pleasure to return. Cal Pau Cruset is our favorite place to unwind and reconnect with nature away from city noise. We love the yoga classes, meditation with the rescued horses, hikes to waterfalls, pool time, and meeting the rescued dogs and cats who happily live there. Ellen and the team give clients such exquisite attention. A 10/10 experience! 🌱🌷

I had the nicest time at a retreat at Masia Cal Pau Cruset. The food was delicious, and the setting for it was perfect. The Masia and its grounds are beautiful, the animals are sweet, and I especially loved the pig. Everyone on staff was really friendly. I also had some lovely conversations with Ellen, the owner, who seems to want to make everyone happy. The location is amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Just left a spontaneous yoga class offered by the staff, and I loved it. The chef also made us super delicious vegan and vegetarian lunches and dinners with an incredible range of food options. Nothing but love for this place and its amazing energy. Definitely coming back!

Its perfect spot among vineyards that look a little like “Toscana”, close to both the sea and Barcelona, makes it a lovely place for a retreat or vacation. We always have a wonderful time at this awesome Retreat Center. The “slow” Mediterranean atmosphere, natural beauty, connection with nature, and the kindness and hospitality of the people all help us slow down and connect with beauty inside and out.
