Bluesea Torremolinos Centro Hotel

The staff are nice, the location is good, and the coffee at the attached café is amazing. It’s a basic hotel, though, and can be noisy. They change the towels every day, but the sheets only if you ask. Would I stay again? No.

The friendly staff were a plus, but the location is the main reason to consider staying here. We were there for four nights and didn’t get a warm shower until the last evening. The tap had to run for ten minutes, and even then we had to hope nobody else on our floor was using water. The toilet seat was broken when we arrived and took two days to fix. The bathroom fan never worked and was never repaired.

We were happy with our stay and would book here again, even just for the location. The rooms are dated, but clean, with fresh white sheets, and ours had a balcony. Service was great too. Breakfast cost us €7 each and felt well worth it. You get what you pay for. In Torremolinos, there are plenty of good, reasonably priced local restaurants, so we didn’t feel we needed all-inclusive.

The friendly, helpful staff made a good impression, and the beaches are fantastic. This Bluesea resort felt different from the others we’ve stayed at, largely because it’s right near the town center. From the balcony, the square has lovely views, though people passing by can see in a bit. Torromelinos is lively and seems better suited to adults, especially if you like nightlife. The WiFi was shocking, which is why I’ve taken off a star. I’d still recommend it 👍🏻
