Getting to the beach means walking down a long flight of stairs, up to 10 minutes, and the steep climb back isn’t pleasant or comfortable for everyone. Shops and restaurants are very close, though, and the location is otherwise handy: the hostel is on the main road into the center of Torremolinos, just a few minutes away. The main bus and train stations are a 5-10 minute walk, and the train gets you to central Malaga in 20 minutes. There’s also a bus stop called 'Casablanca' right outside. Our room was cozy, had a nice view, and was very clean. The cleaning lady came in every day, so we always returned to a tidy room. A comfortable apartment on a budget, with a great location.

We wound up here because another hotel had overbooked us, and were really happy with our stay. It’s a friendly, attentive family run place in a good location. The rooms are basic and a bit dated, especially the bathrooms, but the price reflects that and they’re perfectly adequate. Air conditioning and blackout blinds are there, which are the things that matter. Just know there’s no WiFi.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were lovely and helpful. They helped make our stay great, and we’ll definitely come back. This family friendly hotel went well beyond what we expected, especially for the price. The value is more than excellent.
