With six rooms on each floor, there’s just one bathroom and one toilet. It’s okay for a very short visit, but if you look around long enough you can find much better options for a longer stay. The information is buried deep in their listing, so choose more carefully than I did.

Check your spam folder for the email, fill in all the passport details and other information, then text them on WhatsApp on the day you arrive, starting with the +34 number. They send a passkey when it’s time to check in, so you can enter the building and room. Room 10 is near the shower and toilet, and you could hear everything. There were gaps under the main door and at the top of the fire door, so check those if you want a dark room. The room needs checking and cleaning.

We stopped here on our way somewhere else, and the location was perfect. The place was very clean. The only problem was the air conditioning didn’t work on a 36 degree day. We arrived after a late flight, too late to get it sorted.

They said we could enter after midnight when we checked with them beforehand, but they never sent the entry code. We ended up having to sleep on the cold, windy beach.
