Guaquin Apartments

We’ll definitely come back to Apartamentos Guaquin. Our room was very clean, the service was good, and the location right by the sea was perfect. Really recommended!

We were greeted so warmly, and this is a place I’d happily recommend. I’ll definitely return. The studio is pleasant, with a sea view, and works well for two people. There are two small shops just outside. Inside, there’s a compact but useful kitchenette, a bathroom with a very large shower, and a terrace that fits a table and two chairs. It’s cleaned every other day. Getting to the second floor means climbing 42 steps, though the view makes it worthwhile. From Malaga airport, take the C1 metro (tram) to the Toremolinos stop, not the city center. Get off at the next stop, "Montemar." Cross the bridge, go towards Parque de la Bateria, keep to the park’s right side, and walk towards the tower to find the elevator. Check its opening times. It costs €1 or is free. From there, it’s a straight 500-meter walk. A taxi costs €25, while the tram is €2.50 per person. 😉

Waking up to those sea views is such a pleasure. The area is full of restaurants and beach bars, and the bedroom is spacious, comfortable, clean, and homely. I’ve loved the place and come back several times a year in summer. The guy who helped me was super friendly and gave me great suggestions for places to visit along the coast. 100% recommended.

The host was very friendly, and the cleaning service was fine. It’s a simple, nice studio in a fantastic spot, right on the boulevard with a sea-facing balcony. The entrance opens onto a charming little street with lots of shops and restaurants for a good meal. The beds were too hard for me, and the lighting felt a bit uninviting.
