Hotel Natursun

The location is great, and the bathrooms are good. The rooms are very basic, though, and the sliding door doesn't lock. There's a good car park, but it doesn't feel very secure at night since anyone can walk in from the street. It was noisy all night, with music and people audible. If your room is by the lift or stairs, you'll hear that all night too. Light sleepers should avoid staying here.

The ocean views were absolutely stunning, and the hotel sits somewhere peaceful without being too far from shops, bars, and restaurants. I was a little wary after reading some reviews, but ended up genuinely happy with the place. The rooms are a bit dated, though very clean, and they came with daily service and fresh towels.

I couldn't see why this place is rated so highly. Our balcony was completely enclosed, with no view out, and the rooms were in terrible condition. There was mold in the showers, the wood framing was coming apart, and the pressboard was deteriorating. I asked for extra pillows, but they had no spare pillowcases. The door key also turns on a card, so the lights go off when you lock or unlock the door. It made me wonder if other people are paid for their reviews. Are we even talking about the same hotel?

The staff were great, a full 10/10, and the bed was really good. Breakfast tasted good too, but it was the same every day. The building is quite old, and the location was so-so. The bathrooms were old and smelled awful. They cleaned them daily, but the smell was back within three hours, and there was mold as well. The shower head was so bad you couldn't stand comfortably. I wouldn't really call this a three-star hotel, and I'd book somewhere else.
