Palia Las Palomas

The entertainment team turned a very good stay into a five-star one for us. They were fantastic, and the shows on our final two nights were top class, far beyond anything we'd seen before. We travelled outside school holidays and made some wonderful friends at a hotel that seemed to have it all. We booked on the Friday before leaving from Bristol on Saturday for five days, with little research and mixed reviews in mind. The hotel is well placed, a short walk from the seafront and 12 minutes on foot from Torremolinos town. We expected a typical boozy 'Brits abroad' resort, with bad behaviour and greasy spoons everywhere, but found nothing like that. Torremolinos has lots of excellent, often bespoke shops, cafes, and restaurants, and food and drink seemed exceptionally good as places try to outdo each other. Our favourite bar was 'The Clock Tower', right in the centre, with an amazing rooftop terrace view. At Hotel Palia Las Palomas, the staff were friendly and available, room service was adequate, and the food was generally better than you'd expect from a 3.5 (Jet2 grade) hotel. The pool area was sociable, not cramped around the sunbeds, and the water was warm enough. A well-deserved 5/5 from us, and we can't wait to visit again.

Bart at the front desk was very helpful when my wife felt unwell on arrival. He got us into our room quickly so she could rest. We just got back from a week away, and both the room and food were lovely. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The people at Palia Las Palomas made our two-week stay wonderful. Reception staff, security, and the waiters and waitresses worked from morning to evening with professionalism and warm smiles. The animators kept guests busy all day with games, water aerobics, yoga, and plenty more. They made a great atmosphere, and were happy to sit and chat or laugh with anyone, often staying to talk after activities ended. We also enjoyed the evening shows by the outside dancers, illusionists, and singers. To everyone at the hotel, thank you for the conversations, laughter, and dedication. You create the place's brilliant atmosphere. The food stayed interesting for more than 14 days, a first for us. New, varied dishes arrived daily, fresh, fragrant, delicious, and nicely presented, with something for every taste. Our rooms were spacious, and we loved the modern, tasteful bathrooms. Cleanliness was top-notch, thanks to the housekeeping ladies who looked after our room every day with real care and precision. The hotel is adapted for disabled guests, which is commendable and shows care for visitors. That kind of accessibility reflects the wider approach we found across Spain. Free, stable Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was another big plus. Dear Palia Las Palomas Hotel staff, thanks for a wonderful holiday. You are simply amazing. My daughter and I have just left after a great stay from beginning to end. The staff were the friendliest, and the entertainment team, Marian Kaspard and Hugo, were easily the best we've come across in a long time. Jose the lifeguard was a great guy too. Our room was cleaned every day, the food was delicious, and it's an easy walk to the town or beach. We'd highly recommend the hotel. Thanks for a wonderful visit. Best regards, Shane and Shauna
