Ocean House Costa del Sol by Grupotel

The staff made our stay special. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast had a very good selection of food and drinks for everyone. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable Premier Suite on the 9th floor. It was beautifully maintained and had fantastic views. The hotel is right on the coast and close to everything, so we could explore, eat out, and enjoy the area without going far. It's well stocked, with great people and service. We'd happily recommend it and would definitely come back. Thank you so much.

We spent three days here with a Gate 1 tour group. The room they gave us felt more like a motel than a four-star hotel, very plain and bare. Its low ceiling and big pillar in the middle made it feel like a basement. The other services and facilities seemed average, with nothing especially memorable.

The location offered lovely views and a calm place to enjoy the Costa del Sol. We had a wonderful weekend as a couple and would definitely return. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with care given to the details. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The whole experience exceeded our expectations, and we'd highly recommend the Hotel Ocean House Costa del Sol.

We're staying at this beachside hotel for three weeks, and the buffet food has impressed me with both its quality and variety. Bienvenido has done a magnificent job planning and delivering enjoyable breakfast, lunch, and dinner spreads. The dishes change, though many vegetables are overcooked, and no coffee machines work at lunch or dinner. Some crunchy asparagus and broccoli would be welcome. Francisco runs the buffet staff efficiently, and the friendly, conscientious servers work hard to clear plates promptly and look after everyone. The whole team is attentive, polite, and focused on making the stay memorable. Sergio was quick and attentive when serving drinks at the bar. The live music each night is excellent, with gifted musicians and artists, which is rare at a resort, but it starts too late. An 830 or 9pm start would suit the many seniors and retirees who have early excursions. The location is ideal for restaurants, shopping, the beach, and local transport. Our room in building one, on the second floor, is spacious and clean, and Carmen keeps it tidy and stocked with essentials. The sofa isn't very comfortable, and there are few English-speaking TV stations. Bring a couple of face cloths and you'll have everything you need. Irons are available on request, and the wifi works excellently throughout the grounds. The gym is reasonably equipped, though more 5 and 10lb weights and another recumbent bike would be nice. The heated pool is too cool to swim in right now, and more people might use it if it were warmer. An ice machine somewhere in the hotel would also be welcome. It's good to see elevators and chair lifts for guests with limited mobility. I'm thoroughly enjoying my stay and will definitely return.
