The location was nearly ideal, and the room had enough space, but the bed felt small and uncomfortable. Water was a constant hassle: every tap seemed faulty, and it swung from very hot to cold, as though there wasn't enough cold water coming through. There was no shelf in the shower either, just as another reviewer said. Housekeeping made the bed and changed the sheet and towels, but didn't leave more shampoo or shower gel. At reception, a staff member gave me a few gel sachets and said toiletries were only supplied for the first night, after that you should buy your own. That doesn't seem right, since booking.com lists cosmetics as included. The shower also smelled unpleasant. One morning a horrible vomit-like stench woke me up. Bring earplugs. You can hear everything from the hallways and nearby flats, including kids crying, shouting and screaming, showers, TVs, and furniture being dragged around at any hour. The complaints about dogs and their mess on the balcony below are true too. We stayed seven nights. It wasn't that bad, partly because we were out sightseeing most of the day, but it's best to know about the possible problems so you don't arrive expecting too much. After reading the reviews, we wanted to cancel but couldn't, so we came prepared for all of it. Thankfully, it wasn't as bad as we feared.

It was clean and tidy, and there weren't many tourists around since most of the apartments seem to belong to local residents. The place could still use some care. There was no bathroom soap, only shampoo sachets, and the kettle was actually a Nescafe Gusto coffee pod machine. We had to buy coffee, tea, sugar and milk, and boil water in a pan.

If you're a light sleeper, stay away. You hear everything through the paper-thin doors, walls and floors. The shower is so small it barely suits a teenager under 50 kg, and the wooden chair next door gets dragged around well past midnight. You'd need earplugs strong enough for a heavy metal band. After office hours, you're greeted by a growing pile of rubbish. I also got a checkout message in the middle of my stay. The mattress was decent, but the bed frame creaked with every move. Such a shame for a hotel in a really decent location. It should be taken off Hotels.Com and Expedia. #expedia #hotels.com

The rooms were clean and the view was breathtaking, with the hotel right by the beach. Housekeeping was noisy in the mornings, but I still enjoyed my stay and would come back.

We came for a family holiday and found the accommodation very clean and good value. There's not much of a view, but that didn't bother us since we were out most of the time. I'd definitely recommend it.
